Calling all beef and sub lovers! This Quick Philly Cheese Steak sandwhich won’t disappoint.
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese $2.50
- 1.5 pounds of deli roast beef shaved $16.56
- Green bell pepper $.58
- Red bell pepper $.50
- Onion $.74
- 6 tablespoons of butter $.93
- Salt and pepper
- 6 deli rolls $1.50
Melt two tablespoons of butter on medium heat on stove. Take sliced deli rolls and dip in butter until roll is slightly toasted. Add pepper to rolls for an extra kick and set aside.
Add two more tablespoons of butter to the pan and add roast beef, salt, and pepper. Use spatula to stir/heat up for a couple of minutes and then set aside.
Add the last of the butter and adjust to medium-low heat. Add the slices of onions, and peppers (remove seeds) and let em’ cook until soft, which will take about 8-10 ish minutes.
Everything is ready to go, just add together the meat, cheese, and veggies on the rolls.
